Eligibility :
Year One’s Meet Your Ancestors Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who as of the date of their entry into the Sweepstakes are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Timing :
The Year One’s Meet Your Ancestors Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on 1/30/09 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on 3/2/09 (“Entry Period”).
How to enter:
During the Entry Period, individuals interested in participating in the Sweepstakes may enter the Sweepstakes by logging onto www.sonypictures.com/movies/yearone/sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes Site”), providing their first and last name, street address (no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number (including area code), date of birth, and e-mail address, and selecting, among the following six (6) continents/destination cities:
- Africa/Cairo, Egypt
- Asia/Tokyo, Japan
- Australia/Sydney, Australia
- Europe/London, England
- North America/Las Vegas, NV USA, or
- South America/Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
the ONE destination to which they would like to travel to if selected as the winner of the Sweepstakes, in accordance with the instructions set forth on the Sweepstakes Site (such information and selection collectively referred to as the “Entry”).
Limit:
ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY INTO THE SWEEPSTAKES PER PERSON AND/OR E-MAIL ADDRESS PER DAY WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Prize (s):
The Grand Prize consists of a trip for two (2) to winner’s choice of one of the above referenced six continental/city destinations, as selected by the winner at the time of entry (such selection referred to as the “Destination”). The Grand Prize trip includes the following: (i) roundtrip economy (coach) class airfare for Grand Prize Winner and his/her travel companion from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest the Grand Prize Winner’s hometown, as determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor, to the Destination; and (ii) five (5) consecutive nights hotel accommodations at the Destination (single standard room, double occupancy; room and room tax only) at a hotel selected by Sponsor. Specific air carrier(s) and hotel are at the sole discretion of Sponsor (and/or the third party providers of the air transportation and/or the hotel accommodations). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is between $2,000.00 and $8,000.00, depending on winner’s Destination choice.
