Eligibility : The Promotion is open to residents of all countries who: Are of legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in their country of residence, and in any event are aged 21 or over and are not residents of the states of Florida, Tennessee or California in the United States of America, or the province of Quebec in Canada.
Timing : The deadline for submitting entries in connection with the Promotion is 23:59 GMT on Friday 18th March 2011 (Edinburgh/London time).
Limit : Only one entry per person is allowed.
Prize (s) :
The prize (the “Prize”) is for one winner and one friend (who must be of legal drinking age in his/her country of residence, and in no event younger than 21 years of age, at the time of winner’s initial entry), who must also accept and comply with these terms and conditions (two people in total), to spend one week based near The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. The Prize includes travel to The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland for a VIP tour (“the Event”) involving a private tasting with the Glenfiddich Malt Master, as well as the winner’s choice of activity with a Glenfiddich guide. Winner can choose from any one (1) of eight (8) Highland activities. All activities are undertaken at the winner’s own risk and are subject to availability at the time of year the prize is redeemed.
Highland prizes include a Glenfiddich guide. The 8 activities from which the winner may select are: 1) Golf adventure: Winner and guest will be given private lessons with a golf pro and then play18 holes on a Scottish golf course 2) Gastronomic adventure: Winner and guest will be given private cookery lessons with an expert and then eat at one of the best restaurants in Scotland. 3) Rock climbing adventure: Winner and guest will go rock climbing in the Highlands with an expert guide. 4) Abseiling adventure: Winner and guest will be taken on abseiling or rap running by an experienced and expert guide. 5) Cultural adventure: Winner and guest will be taken on a cultural tour of the Highlands, including history and castles, by an expert guide. 6) Paragliding adventure: Winner and guest will be taught to paraglide and taken up into the Scottish skies with an experienced and expert guide . 7) Fishing adventure: Winner and guest will be given private fly fishing lessons by an expert and then fish along the Spey River . 8) Skiing adventure: Winner and guest will be given private skiing lessons by an expert and ski in Aviemore or The Lecht Ski Resort
The value of the prize cannot be accurately determined as it will depend in part on the location of the winner and the cost of travel from that location. With the exception of those travel costs, we estimate that the approximate retail value of the prize will be up to £15,000 (approximately 24,000 US dollars, 30,000 AUD dollars or 17,000 Euros based on approximate exchange rates on 1st December 2009).
