How To Enter : To enter, access www.verizon.com/MTV (the “Website”) and follow the on-screen entry instructions to submit an entry during the Entry Period.

Eligibility : Verizon presents the Ultimate MTV VMA Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older and whose residence is in a location where FiOS service is available as of the date of entry within one of the following metropolitan areas: New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Virginia, Tampa, Los Angeles, Dallas and Baltimore. Whether a potential entrant resides within a FiOS coverage area within one of the specified metropolitan areas will be determined by Verizon (“Sponsor”) in its sole discretion.

Timing : The entry period for the Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on July 5, 2011 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 8, 2011 (the “Entry Period”).

Limit : There is a limit of one entry per person and per email address, per day.

Prize (s) :

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a trip for the winner and one (1) guest to attend the 2011 Video Music Awards, currently scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, California on August 28, 2011. The trip consists of round trip coach air transportation for two (2) people (the winner and guest) between the major U.S. airport nearest to the winner’s home and a major airport in the Los Angeles, California area, which will be determined by Sponsor in its discretion (roundtrip ground transportation will be substituted in place of roundtrip air transportation in the event that winner resides within 150 miles of Los Angeles, CA); round trip ground transportation while in Los Angeles for the winner and guest between the destination airport and the hotel; standard double occupancy hotel accommodations for the winner and guest for two (2) nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor (room rate and taxes only; size and type of room determined by Sponsor); an invitation for the winner and guest to attend the 2011 Video Music Awards, and an invitation to attend one or more events related to the 2011 Video Music Awards determined by Sponsor and/or the prize supplier(s). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $4,500.

Each of the five (5) Weekly Prizes consists of a 2011 Video Music Awards “swag bag” consisting of an assortment of merchandise selected by Sponsor in its discretion. The ARV of each Weekly Prize is $100.00.
