MLB.com and Maytag have teamed up to bring you the Maytag #myfilthiestplay Promotion, which consists of a Contest and a Sweepstakes, running from August 3rd through September 14th!
During each of the six weekly entry periods, enter the Contest by sharing a photo or video of your filthiest baseball game-related play on the field. You may shared your photo or video on either Twitter or Instagram, as follow:
- Twitter: Follow @MLB on Twitter and post a tweet including your photo/video using #myfilthiestplay to be automatically entered into the Contest for the applicable Weekly Entry Period.
- Instagram: Follow @MLB on Instagram then share your photo/video using #myfilthiestplay to be automatically entered into the Contest for the applicable Weekly Entry Period.
Each valid submission will result in one (1) Contest Entry. Limited to one (1) Contest Entry per day, regardless of method of entry, during the Promotion Period.
Each week, a new contest prize winner will be selected by the judges and will receive a Maytag 5.3 cu. Ft. Top Load Washer and a Maytag 8.8 cu. ft. High Capacity Dryer plus, a $50 MLB.com Shop online gift certificate!
But wait! There’s one more way to win! Each valid Contest Submission will also result in one (1) Sweepstakes Entry for a chance to win the grand prize of a 2015 MLB World Series trip for four!
The Grand Prize, valued at over $10,000, includes the following:
- round-trip coach class airfare for four;
- two (2) night hotel accommodations;
- four (4) tickets for one (1) 2015 MLB World Series game;
- one (1) Maytag 5.3 cu. Ft. Top Load Washer;
- one (1) Maytag 8.8 cu. ft. High Capacity Dryer.
Not into submitting a photo or video into the Contest? Don’t worry, you can still enter the Sweepstakes by mail. Simply hand type your full name, complete mailing address, phone number , email address, date of birth and name of Sweepstakes on a plain 3″ x 5″ piece of paper, then mail it in a properly stamped #10 envelope to: Maytag #myfilthiestplay Promotion / Sweepstakes Component c/o MLB Advanced Media, L.P., 75 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10011. You will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. However, you won’t be eligible to win a Contest Prize.
The Maytag #myfilthiestplay Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) U.S. states and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (except in the case of residents of states where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such legal age of majority) at the time of entry.
