Eligibility : Entry into the Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”), excluding California, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Promotion Period : The Jim Beam Bourbon Salute Soldiers with the Spirit of America Contest begins on February 2, 2010 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on June 21, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (“Contest Period”).
How To Enter : You may enter the Jim Beam Bourbon Salute Soldiers with the Spirit of America Contest (“Contest”) on-line at jimbeam.com/lpa by filling out an entry form and submitting an essay.
Limit : Limit three (3) entries per person, e-mail address or Facebook account; each entry/essay must describe a different service member.
Prize (s):
Four (4) prizes will be awarded, one to each Evaluation Period’s Grand Prize winner. Each Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) Jim Beam® VIP Experience Package for the winner and the service member described in the winning entry. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize package: $6,250. The ARV of all available prizes is Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000). The VIP Experience Packages are as follows:
Period 1 Grand Prize: Kentucky Bourbon Heaven to include premium tickets to the famous thoroughbred stakes race at Churchill Downs on May 1, 2010, a visit to the Jim Beam distillery and a VIP bourbon tasting and meal with Fred Noe, seventh-generation Jim Beam distiller and great-grandson of Jim Beam.
Period 2 Grand Prize: Golfers’ Dream Package, to include tickets to the final two (2) days of a major golf championship at Pebble Beach on June 19 and 20, 2010.
Period 3 Grand Prize: Take Me Out to the Ball Game, to include field box tickets to a home game for a professional baseball team on Chicago’s South Side on July 10, 2010.
Period 4 Grand Prize: Rock Out with the Kid, to include tickets to a concert and the opportunity to meet Kid Rock in 2010.
Each prize package includes a 3 day/ 2 night trip for winner and the service member described in the winning entry (“Service Member”) to the package location (“Location”). Each trip includes round-trip coach class airfare for winner and Service Member to Location, 2 nights’ accommodations (double occupancy), ground transportation to and from Location airport and accommodations, stipend of $100 per person per day for food ($600 in total), and may include other VIP opportunities; all prize details not specified herein shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

The Winners’ names will be posted after July 20, 2010 following the verification of winners and the awarding of prizes. You may also request a copy of the Rules or the Winners’ list by sending a self-addressed, stamped #10 business-size envelope to: Jim Beam® Bourbon “Salute Soldiers with the Spirit of America Contest”, Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc., 510 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, IL, 60015. Indicate “Rules” and/or “Winners’ List”, as appropriate, on the front of your outer mailing envelope, in the lower left-hand corner. Residents of VT may omit return stamp from Rules requests only. Mailed requests must be received by August 20, 2010.
