Eligibility :
Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, outside the contiguous U.S./D.C. and wherever prohibited. Employees of Staples, Inc. (“Staples), Sanford, L.P., Speedway Motorsports, Inc., and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, sweepstakes judges, and members of the immediate families (defined as spouses, parents, children and siblings; whether such family members are biological, adoptive, step or in-law) of such employees and those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.
Timing :
The Promotion begins on June 11, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”), ends on September 12, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).

To enter the Sweepstakes, please visit www.staples.sharpie500.com and follow the on-screen instructions to complete and submit a Sweepstakes entry form. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M. CDT on July 15, 2008.

Prize (s):
One (1) GRAND PRIZE: A 4 day/3 night trip for two to the SHARPIE 500 on August 23, 2008 at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Prize includes two tickets to the SHARPIE 500 and Food City 250 races; round trip coach airfare for two (winner and one guest) from a major airport near winner’s home (if winner lives within 150 miles of Bristol, Tennessee, round-trip limo service will be awarded in lieu of airfare. No cash balances will be awarded); ground transportation while in Bristol; three nights hotel accommodations (double occupancy); a chance to ride in the official pace car of the Sharpie 500, a Sharpie Prize Package (as described below); and $1,000 spending money for the winner. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is: $5,000.
Twenty-Five (25) FIRST PRIZES: Sharpie Prize Package including Sharpie t-shirt, hat and a Sharpie product of sponsor’s choice. (ARV: $30.00 each).
