How To Enter : Go to http://www.scottiestreesrock.com (“Website”) and follow the on-screen directions to submit a video depicting an individual or group of 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade students enrolled in a state accredited elementary school located in the 50 United States/D.C., answering the questions “Why are trees important to you, your school and your community?” and “How you think your school could use $10,000 to beautify the outdoors if you win?” (“Entry”).
Eligibility : Scotties Trees Rock Video Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
Timing : Starting at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on September 30, 2013 through 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on November 29, 2013 (“Promotion Period”)
Limit : Limit one (1) Entry per eligible 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade student or group of students.
Prize (s) :
One (1) Grand Prize: The state accredited elementary school for which the Grand Prize winning Entry was submitted, will receive $10,000 cash (awarded in the form of a check) and a Trees Rock Entertainment and Planting Event (“Event”). ARV: $12,000.00.
One (1) First Prize: The state accredited elementary school for which the First Prize winning Entry was submitted, will receive $7,500 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Two (2) Second Prizes: The state accredited elementary schools for which Second Prize winning Entries were submitted, will each receive $5,000 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Two (2) Third Prizes: The state accredited elementary schools for which Third Prize winning Entries were submitted, will each receive $4,000 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Two (2) Fourth Prizes: The state accredited elementary schools for which Fourth Prize winning Entries were submitted will each receive $2,500 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Two (2) Fifth Prizes: The state accredited elementary schools for which Fifth Prize winning Entries were submitted will each receive $1,000 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Two (2) Sixth Prizes: The state accredited elementary schools for which Sixth Prize winning Entries were submitted will each receive $500 cash (awarded in the form of a check).
Fifty (50) Classroom Pack winners: Each state accredited elementary school for which a Top Fifty (50) Entry was submitted, as determined during Phase I Judging, will receive a Classroom Prize Pack consisting of selected books and CDs from the Walden Media Collection. ARV: $100.00 each.
Total ARV of all prizes : $50,500.00
