Eligibility :
The “Scotties® Back to School” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who have reached the age of majority in the state or district in which he/she is residing at the time of entry into the Sweepstakes. Void outside of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees, officers and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household of such persons, including common law spouses) of Irving Tissue, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), its respective affiliates (including, without limitation, its parent, sister and subsidiary companies), agents, participating stores, advertising or promotional agencies, independent judging agency (“Administrator”), suppliers of prizes and/or materials or services related to the Sweepstakes are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
Timing :
he Sweepstakes starts on July 1, 2008 at 12:01 A.M. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends at 11:59 P.M. ET on August 31, 2008 (“Promotion Period”).
How to enter:
UPC Codes can be found on specially-marked packages of Scotties® Facial Tissues, while supplies last. To enter, go to www.scottiesbacktoschool.com (the “Website”) follow the online entry instructions and enter your UPC Code and complete the official online entry form with your complete name, address, city, state, zip code, daytime phone number (optional) and email address; and, click “Submit,” and you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes; OR to enter without purchasing Scotties® Facial Tissues, go to the Website, follow the online entry instructions and enter the following UPC code: 63435 85160 and complete the official online entry form with your complete name, address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number (optional) and email address; click “Submit” and you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. All entries must be received within the timelines indicated in the Drawing and Prize Schedule chart below. No preference in awarding Prizes will be given to a UPC code on product packages and the UPC code found in these Official Rules.
Limit :
Limit one entry per UPC code per entry pool, as set forth in the Drawing and Prize Schedule chart below (“Entry Pool”) per person/household during the Promotion Period.
Prize (s):
One (1) Grand Prize: $25,000.00 awarded in the form of three (3) annual payments of $8,333 to be deposited into a 529 Plan, managed by a Sponsor-specified agency, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein as well as those applicable to such a 529 Plan. In lieu of the $25,000.00 deposited into a 529 Plan, Grand Prize winner may choose to receive a one-time payment of $15,000.00, awarded in the form of a check(“Cash Alternative”). Cash Alternative is at Grand Prize winner’s sole option. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) is $25,000.00 (or $15,000.00 if winner chooses Cash Alternative).
One thousand (1,000) First Prizes: One-hundred eleven (111) First Prizes will be awarded each Entry Pool for the first 8 Entry Pools, and one-hundred twelve (112) First Prizes will be awarded in the 9th Entry Pool. A First Prize will be one (1) Back to School Kit, consisting of Sponsor-specified school supplies. ARV: $25.00 each. Total ARV of all Prizes (“Prizes”) is $50,000.00 (or $40,000.00 if Grand Prize winner chooses Cash Alternative).
