Eligibility :
The Overstock.com Family Bailout (“the Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding minors and all residents of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other commonwealths, territories, and possessions), who are 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER as of November 14, 2008 (“Entrant” or “Entrants”).

Timing :
The Overstock.com Family Bailout begins at 12 a.m. Mountain Time on November 24, 2008 and ends at 12 a.m. Mountain Time on December 22, 2008 (the “Entry Period”)

How to enter:
During the Entry Period, one (1) entry will be automatically entered for an Entrant on any and each day the respective Entrant makes one or more purchases from Overstock.com (not including auction purchases) (“Purchase”). One Purchase per household per calendar day during the Entry Period will automatically enter up to Twenty-Eight (28) Purchase-based entries for a qualified purchasing Entrant.

Alternatively, Entrants may enter without making a purchase by logging on to www.overstock.com/familybailout (“No-Purchase Entry”).
No-Purchase Entries will be eligible only if postmarked by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 21, 2008. Entrants may begin sending No-Purchase Entries on November 24, 2008 for eligibility during the Entry Period.

Prize (s):

One qualifying entrant (the “Winner”) will win up to $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars) paid by Overstock.com on behalf of Winner directly to one or more qualified creditors of the Winner or the Winner’s immediate family. Qualified creditors are limited to credit card companies, mortgage lenders, medical creditors, student loan creditors, and car loan creditors. Overstock shall only pay the prize money for debt owed prior to November 24, 2008 by Winner to a qualified creditor. The aggregate approximate retail value of all prizes is $50,000.
