How To Enter : To enter the Contest, go to the Internet web site located at the URL ellentv.com/covergirl (the “Web Site”) and follow the instructions.
Eligibility : The Contest is open to individuals who are legal residents of and physically residing in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia (but excluding foreign-based U.S. military installations and embassies, the territory of Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories) or Canada (but excluding residents of Quebec) on the date of entry. All entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority of their state/province of residence) as of the date of entry.
Timing : The contest entry period for legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia begins at 6 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on January 22, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on February 16, 2013 (the “US Entry Period”). The contest entry period for legal residents of Canada (but excluding residents of Quebec) begins at 6 a.m. PT on January 25, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on February 19, 2013 (“Canadian Entry Period”).
Limit : One (1) entry per person/household/e-mail address during either Entry Period.
Prize (s) :
One (1) Contest winner (the “Winner”) will be selected.
The Prize:
(1) US$20,000.00 in the form of a check made payable to the Winner.
(2) The opportunity to participate in a COVERGIRL® photo shoot on a date(s) and at a location determined by COVERGIRL® in consultation with the Winner (“Photo Shoot”). Winner will receive no monetary compensation for participating in the Photo Shoot. If Winner does not participate in the Photo Shoot, Winner will forfeit that portion of the Prize and will not receive any form of consideration in its place. If Winner does not participate in the Photo Shoot, Winner will also forfeit the Magazine Ad (as defined below) and will not receive any form of consideration in its place. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Priceless
(3) Coach airfare for Winner and one (1) travel guest (“Guest”) from the closest major airport from Winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) on an airline selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion to the Photo Shoot location; hotel accommodations in the city where the Photo Shoot will occur (double occupancy); ground transportation in the city where the Photo Shoot will occur. If Winner resides within 150 miles of the location of the Photo Shoot, ground transportation to and from the Photo Shoot will be substituted for airfare and hotel accommodations will not be provided. ARV of the airfare/hotel portion of the Prize: US$3,000.00
(4) In the event COVERGIRL® elects, in its sole and absolute discretion, the opportunity to appear in a magazine advertisement for COVERGIRL® which will include one or more photos from the Photo Shoot (the “Magazine Ad”). COVERGIRL® shall select the magazine in which the Magazine Ad runs in its sole and absolute discretion. Winner will receive no monetary or other consideration for the Magazine Ad. In the event COVERGIRL® determines not to run the Magazine Ad, then Winner will forfeit the Magazine Ad portion of the Prize and no monetary or other consideration will be awarded to Winner in its place.
