Eligibility : Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a legal resident of the United States and the parent or legal guardian of a kid between the ages of 6 and 12. The idea for the game must come from a kid age 6-12 at the time of contest entry who is the kid of the Applicant. Void where prohibited.
Timing : Between March 22, 2011, and June 30, 2011
Limit : Limit one game submission per household.
Prize (s) :
Five (5) Finalists (one parent/one kid each) selected by the Program judges (see judging criteria below) will be flown to New York City in late August 2011 to participate in a final round of judging at a public event. At the final round judging event, each kid (with a parent) will present his or her game to the judging panel.
One (1) Winner will receive a $10,000 educational scholarship for his/her kid in the form of a check, a Trek kid’s bike (ARV $300) and a Bell kid’s bike helmet (ARV $40), plus travel costs to New York City – see section 4.c. below (ARV $3,000).
The four (4) other Finalists will receive a $1,000 educational scholarship for his/her kid in the form of a check, a Trek kid’s bike (ARV $300) and a Bell kid’s bike helmet (ARV $40), plus travel costs to New York City – see section 4.c. below (ARV $3,000).
