How To Enter : To enter, visit www.roommateoftheyear.com (the “Web Site”) during the period of April 8, 2013 at noon Eastern Standard time (ET) through May 20, 2013 at noon Eastern Standard time (ET), and follow the on-screen instructions to submit a completed official entry form
Eligibility : The Contest is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories and U.S. military installations), who are at least 18 years of age as of April 8, 2013 and who meet the following eligibility requirements and have read and agreed to these Official Rules (“Entrants”). Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories, U.S. military installations, and where prohibited by law.
Timing : Contest Opens: April 8, 2013 @ noon ET. Deadline for Receipt of All Entries: May 20, 2013 @ noon ET. First Phase: Announcement of Judges’ Selection of up to Fifteen (15) Finalists: On or about May 28, 2013. Second Phase: Public Voting Period Opens: On or about May 28, 2013. Public Voting Closes: July 7, 2013 @ midnight ET. Third Phase: Announcement of Judges’ Selection of One (1) Grand Prize and Four (4) Runner-Up Winners: Announcement of Judges’ Selection of One (1) Grand Prize and Four (4) Runner-Up Winners: On or after July 8, 2013 but no later than December 31, 2013.

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive free rent for a year valued at $10,000, plus an additional $10,000, in a single check for a total of $20,000.00. Grand Prize Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $20,000.00.
Four (4) Runner-Up Winners each will receive a check for $500.00. Total value of all runner-up winner prizes: $2,000.00.
