Eligibility :
Heroes of Conservation is open to legal residents of the continental United States (excluding Hawaii) and the District of Columbia. All Entrants must be 21 years of age at the time of Entry and must be licensed U.S. drivers. Void where prohibited or restricted by law
Timing :
Heroes of Conservation begins August 1, 2008, and ends May 11, 2009.
How to enter:
To enter, Nominators must visit www.fieldandstream.com and click on the Heroes of Conservationbutton on the page. Click on Nominate a Hero to download the PDF mail-in Entry form OR fill out the online Entry form provided. Fill out the Entry form and remember to include the name of the Nominee, project description, location, the species or habitat involved, the date the project started, when the project was completed and a description of the project.
Limit:
One Nominee per household.
Prize (s):
The grand prize (“Grand Prize”) awarded to one of the six winning Nominees referred to above will be a New Toyota Tundra SR5 V8 Doublecab 4×2. Approximate Retail Value: $35,000.
A cash prize of $5,000 will be awarded to each of the six winning Nominees, including the Grand Prize winner chosen from the six winning Nominees.
A cash prize of $1,000 will be awarded to all Magazine Nominees whether or not they are separately nominated by a Nominator, and in addition to any other prize they might win in the Contest.
Each week a “Hero of the Week” will be selected and displayed on the Field & Stream web site between November 12, 2008 and September 30, 2009. Each of these Heroes of the Week will receive a $100 Bass Pro Shops gift card in addition to any other prize they might win in the Contest, while supplies last.
