How To Enter : To enter, visit the web site www.natgeotv.com/migrations (the “Website”), and complete the entry form

Eligibility : Only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older are eligible to enter.

Timing : The National Geographic Channel’s “Migrations of a Lifetime” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on October 17, 2010, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on November 20, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. EDT (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

Prize (s):

GRAND PRIZE: Four (4) Grand Prizes are available during the Sweepstakes Period (one prize awarded per each Entry Period). Four (4) winners (each a “Winner”) will receive prizes as more fully described below:

Grand Prize for Entry Period #1 – Tanzania, Africa for Wildebeest migration: The Grand Prize Winner for Entry Period #1 will receive: a trip for the Winner and one (1) guest (the “Guest”) to Tanzania, Africa for ten (10) days and nine (9) nights for a wildlife safari. The trip includes: roundtrip coach airfare for the Winner and Guest from the major commercial airport nearest Winner’s residence to Tanzania, Africa; nine (9) nights standard hotel accommodations in a hotel of Sponsor’s choice; tours of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Olduvai Gorge; an opportunity to meet wildlife biologists and a Maasai chief. Trip must be taken February 14-23, 2011. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this prize is Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars ($19,790.00 USD).

Grand Prize for Entry Period #2 – Baja and Sea of Cortez, Mexico for Grey Whale migration: The Grand Prize Winner for Entry Period #2 will receive: a trip for the Winner and one (1) Guest to La Paz, Mexico for an eight (8) day and seven (7) night cruise on board the National Geographic Sea Bird. The trip includes: roundtrip coach airfare for the Winner and Guest from the major commercial airport nearest Winner’s residence to La Paz, Mexico; seven (7) nights standard cruise accommodations; and access to a team of naturalists. Trip must be taken February 12-19, 2011. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this prize is Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($12,550.00 USD).

Grand Prize for Entry Period #3 – South Georgia / Falkland Islands for migration of South Elephant Seals, Albatross, Rockhopper Penguins and Cara Cara: The Grand Prize Winner for Entry Period #3 will receive: a trip for the Winner and one (1) Guest to Ushuaia, Argentina for a twenty (20) day and eighteen (18) night trip, including a seventeen (17) night cruise on board the National Geographic Explorer to visit South Georgia and the Falkland Islands, remote South Atlantic outposts. The trip includes: roundtrip coach airfare for the Winner and Guest from the major commercial airport nearest Winner’s residence to Santiago, Chile; one (1) night standard hotel accommodations in a hotel of Sponsor’s choice in Santiago, Chile; coach airfare to Ushuaia, Argentina (with return to Santiago, Chile at the end of the cruise); and seventeen (17) nights standard cruise accommodations. Trip must be taken October 21 – November 9, 2011. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this prize is Thirty-Two Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($32,950.00 USD).

Grand Prize for Entry Period #4 – South Africa for Zebra migration: The Grand Prize Winner for Entry Period #4 will receive: a trip for the Winner and one (1) Guest to South Africa for twelve (12) days and eleven (11) nights for a wildlife safari. The trip includes: roundtrip coach airfare for the Winner and Guest from the major commercial airport nearest Winner’s residence to Johannesburg, South Africa; eleven (11) nights standard hotel accommodations in a hotel of Sponsor’s choice; private charter flight to the MalaMala Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger National Park.; private charter flight to Mashatu Game Reserve; private charter flight to Chobe National Park; visits to Makgadikgadi Pans Game Reserve, Victoria Falls, and Livingstone, Zambia. Trip must be taken March 13-24, 2011. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this prize is Twenty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($25,550.00 USD).
